"we recycle"" RECYCLE BINS ARE IN THE MAINTENANCE YARD IN IT'S OWN AREA. THERE IS A GATE THERE NOW TO WALK IN AND PUT YOUR RECYCLABLES IN, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE IT IF YOU WOULD CRUSH YOUR ALUMINUM CANS AND PLASTIC BOTTLES TO SAVE SPACE. CRUSHING as much as you can doubles our volume for each toater. It allows us to send out 50 bins for the cost of 25. A tremendous savings for the island. We have a steel can and large plastic crusher, and volunteers available to help you. Please continue to separate ALUMINUM CANS, we recycle them separately. We now take FLATTENED CARDBOARD AND PAPERBOARD. Look for the specially marked bin, as this goes to a different vendor. DO NOT PUT INTO THE NEWSPAPER BIN!
